MEMORY CONFIGURATION FOR PTM-ES
The reason that we change the configuration of the Windows operating system is so we can have more of the first 640k of memory to run the PTM-ES executable program in DOS. If there is not sufficient memory then you might not be able to complete the operation that you are attempting to run in the PTM-ES program. Since the PTM-ES program has been growing steadily in size, with the upgrades and improvements to the program, the memory requirements are now higher. We try to not load any drivers that we don’t need in dos to run the PTM-ES program, (CD-ROM drivers, DOS redirect drivers).
Follow these suggestions for your configuration files.
NOTE: Windows ME is not supported for running PTM-ES. Windows ME no longer supports what is called ``real-mode DOS.'' That means that many DOS applications will no longer run.
Officially at this point Windows Vista is not supported for running PTM-ES Windows Vista has not been tested with our PTM and ES products and we cannot provide support or help regarding this operating system at this time.
